Alvera D, is a brown dwarf located 1492 light-years from Earth in the Alvera stellar system, viewed in Sagittarius constellation. Alvera D does not have a formed extrasolar planetary system but has one planet possibly captured that came from another star or within the early formation of the Alvera stellar system.
Planetary system[]
The brown dwarf star has not formed it's own planetary system, due to the low mass. However, it has been found that Alvera D has captured a rogue terrestrial planet that is orbiting it.
